Lady Barbie

In my 80 years on the planet, using my intuitive gifts, I have helped people and their pets find their voice.

As a youngster I would receive guidance from the Spirit world. When I would get an uneasy feeling, that something was about to happen or that something was wrong, I would tune-in. Whether it was a human or animal I would receive messages about the situation.

We had an outdoor cat growing up we called Mama Cat because she kept having litters of kittens. I counted over one hundred kittens that would mysteriously disappear shortly after they were born. One day I noticed Mama Cat was missing and I went to look for her. That uneasy familiar feeling came over me.  Intuitively I tuned into Mama Cat and she came to me in a vision to say goodbye. I never saw her again.

It wasn’t until my early 40’s that this gift was made clear by way of my newly acquired cat, Athena.  Whenever I would pet her she would attack my hand. Sadly, I thought I would have to get rid of her. Then I heard that familiar voice that guided me as a child say, “Meditate” and so I did.  As I closed my eyes, I felt someone staring at me.  It was Athena. As she sat across from me looking directly into my eyes, I somehow merged with her and I saw the world through her eyes.  She was a nine foot tall goddess emitting a powerful energy. I heard her say, “I am your teacher, if you are willing to learn”.

Experience is the greatest teacher.  Five years ago I had a close call with death.  I was attacked and stabbed in my neck by a deranged woman, living in my apartment building. I was rushed to the hospital and treated.  I had surgery, while she went to jail.  Fortunately I survived because she missed the main artery in my neck, but only by a millimeter.

During my recovery, I wanted to find answers. The main question was “Why me God?”

As I searched to find my answer, I began to follow the breadcrumbs, like in the fairy tale Hansel and Gretel.  I found myself in Findhorn, Scotland. There, I attended a workshop with Anna Breytenbach, world renowned Animal Intuitive. This journey opened me up to using my abilities in a whole new way and deepened my work as an Animal Intuitive.

You might be wondering where the name Lady Barbie comes from? I had been working with Georgie, a client from Great Britain who now lives in Florence, Italy.  After a couple of sessions, she was reveling in her transformation.  She blurted out,” LADY BARBIE!  You are amazing!  I have personally met the queen and you remind me of the queen’s mother.   She was super fun and feminine. Whenever I would see her, she would have her pinky finger up as she was drinking her tea and other adult  beverages”.
